The network marketing industry use to be laughed at and put down by many. Talk of pyramid schemes and scams turned many away from a lucrative business.

Now the shoe is on the other foot. With the low cost of getting started and the opportunity to make money without a boss, many unemployed are flocking to the industry.

This is good for the economy and for the human spirit. We are once again giving birth to the entrepreneurial spirit. The foundation of which all good economies are built on.

That fact that people want to take back control of their lives and finances has me jumping for joy!

But I do stress caution and research in choosing the right network marketing opportunity. If it sounds to good to be true, it probably is.

So do your research. What should you look for?

Finding The Right Network Marketing Biz

There are 3 things that you need to look for when joining a network marketing company.

1. Would You Consume or Use The Product? Find a company that you can get behind. If you don’t love it, you won’t promote it.

2. Research The Founders. Do some due diligence and learn more about the company. How long in biz? Track record? Reviews?

3. Seek Out a Leader. Seek out a leader inside that company. Someone is building their business in a way that you can see yourself doing.

These are not complicated requests. But having a strong upline is key to your success. Having someone there to give you a hand up is vital.

So do your research.

How to Find a Network Marketing Leader?

My mentor and coach has the saying, “Find someone that has what you want. Do what they do. And you will get what you want.”

He uses this in reference to find a leader to follow. The most successful network marketing leaders have a system that they use to help their team.

This system goes beyond the traditional MLM training and focuses in on the marketing aspect of your business. The attraction marketing piece.

A strong leader will give you the right tools and training. Helping you customize your experience for building your own team and business.

1.8 million Nigerians enter job market yearly, says Okonjo-Iweala

The minister said the federal government created 1.6 million jobs last year.

The Minister for Finance, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, on Tuesday in Abuja said no fewer than 1.8 million graduates in the country move into the labour market every year.

Ms. Okonjo-Iweala, who is also the Coordinating Minister for the Economy, made this known during a meeting with delegates of the Arewa Youth Forum on issues of youth development in the Northern part of the country.

She said that the data was generated by National Bureau of Statistics and that it was to enable the Federal Government ascertain the level of youth unemployment and come up with policies to address it.

“I am proud to say that after two months of methodological work, the statisticians have come up with the data that 1.8 million people in the country enter the job market yearly.

“I am happy to tell you that last year we were able to create 1.6 million jobs. So we are getting close to the 1.8 million that enter the job market.

The 1.6 million jobs the minister said the government created has become a source of controversy among Nigerians. At least two non-governmental organizations have written to the minister asking her to provide evidence and details of the jobs.

One of the requests was filed by a youth development and advocacy group, Spaces for Change.

“We would like to see the copies of the enabling policies, executed and ongoing projects and programmes for bolstering job creation and youth employment so that we may independently verify the methodology, measures and figures employed in generating the statistical data of jobs created within the specified time frame,” said Victoria Ibezim-Ohaeri, Executive Director, Spaces for Change.

So if by the 2014 we are having 1.8 million injected into the labour market what about now that the pandemic has made lots of people out of job.

So we should not wait too long looking for a job our youth can create jobs and contribute greatly to our society and the economy.
